 Information about the intended TEMPUS project:

Tajik State University of Commerce is ready to participate in any type of project – Joint Projects or Structural Measures (under the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument of the European Union).

 Project proposal/description:

Joint Project 1:  New Curriculum Development for the Discipline “Management of Tourism”

5 leading Universities in the country involved in the preparation of specialists on specialization on Management of Tourism. Universities have faculties, books, material and technical base. However Universities do not cooperate to improve the quality of teaching and development new curriculum for the discipline “Management of Tourism”. In addition, Universities have not connection with tourism business entities. The reasons of this situation are:

 Universities do not have experience;

There is no coordination Center;

There is no sufficient recourses.

Development Tourism Center on base tourism management department at the University will help to solve these issues. Established Tourism    Center in framework of TEMPUS Program can be as coordination center between partners Universities.

The main results of project realization should be:

Center for Tourism Development establishment;

Education quality enhance and approaching to European standards;

New educational  technologies introduction and development;

Partnership system establishment;

New Curriculum  development;

Statistics Data on Tourism prepared

SCM Project 2: Development of the European-Tajikistan master's program "International Business".

Purpose  - to improve the quality of  Business Education through the introduction of  European Universities practice.

Joint Project 3. Students Government at the Universities

Purpose - develop a system of student government at the Universities of Tajikistan

1. Design documents for the establishment of student government at the University;
2. Organizational  student government structure;
3. Determination of the main student government activities;
4. The implementation of the functions of student government
