Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University www.onu.edu.ua educates specialists for 20 departments and 41 specialties. Educational activity is also conducted in the preparation department for foreign citizens, retraining, advanced training and the second higher education are available on the basis of complex “School-college-university”.

Project description:

Making easier the way “from idea to business and society”- creation of favourable legal and managerial starting conditions to open the spin-off and start-up companies, based on universities knowledge.

The main idea is to create a project partnership of interdisciplinary actors and subjects of innovative activity, including Universities’ innovation and technology transfer offices; lawyers, engaged in the reforms of the Ukrainian innovative legislation with abilities in consulting of start-up founders. The operations of knowledge and technology transfer in Ukraine and abroad have to be accompanied by managerial and legal support.

The project was rejected in TEMPUS IV, 5th call, the preliminary consortium of HEIs, technology parks, governmental bodies for this year has been formed. European institutions, experienced in TEMPUS applications and ready for sharing the best experience for making easier the step-by-step process of start-up and spin-off creation are very welcome.

For Joint Projects: Modernization of curricula: Curricula reform including ECTS, 3 cycle and Diploma Recognition

1) Development the Life-long innovative learning programs - Joint training for parents and children – Sustainable school of paternal management and family team-building;

2) Creation of Master in “Medical and Pharmaceutical Chemistry”; “Accounting and Auditing”; “Law Science and Human Rights”; “Management and Business Administration”.

3) Development of Life-long learning programs (education for ageing people) with a Coordination Centre for Distance Learning (http://e-learning.onu.edu.ua) – part of the Institute of Innovative and Postgraduate Education of Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University (http://onu.edu.ua/en/structure/institutes/iipo), that consists of:

- Chairs of: clinical psychology, economics and modeling of market relations; computer networks and information technology; social theories; economic cybernetics and applied economy;

- College of enterprise and social work: preparation of the bachelors of specialties: finance and credit, applied mathematics, accounting, social work.
