Results of Erasmus Mundus Action 2 - Partnership Selection

European Commission adopted Financing Decision for EU funding in the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 - Strand 1 Partnerships where Ukraine participates in Lot 7, together with Moldova and Belarus.

The selected consortium is led by Deusto University, Bilbao, Spain.

The recently published mid-term evaluation of the Tempus IV programme confirms that Tempus is reaching its objectives, by fostering cooperation, building capacities and contributing to reforms in countries surrounding the EU. The new features introduced under Tempus IV clearly enhance the impact of the programme and the new management set-up is seen as highly beneficial to the programme performance. The programme's bottom-up approach is considered as one of the key factors for its success.

The Tempus programme is an education cooperation programme promoting higher education modernisation and development in the neighbouring countries of the EU. The programme funds cooperation projects in the Partner Countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Southern Mediterranean region. Since 1990, the EU has made available 1.5 billion EUR, funding nearly 4000 cooperation projects. These projects last from two to three years and aim to introduce long term structural change, as well as to encourage people-to-people contacts and intercultural understanding.

Scholarships Erasmus Mundus MSc in Photonics (Belgium, Sweden, UK)

Five leading research and educational institutions in Europe are collaborating to offer a joint Erasmus Mundus Master of Science program in Photonics, providing a top-quality eduction in all aspects of photonics. The master programme has a duration of two years (120 ECTS points), with students spending a year in two different countries.

Мережева взаємодія університетів – партнерів в реалізації багаторівневої системи підготовки і підвищення кваліфікації фахівців у сфері освітнього менеджменту

В рамках проекту ЄС програми Темпус IV «Мережева взаємодія університетів – партнерів в реалізації багаторівневої системи підготовки і підвищення кваліфікації фахівців у сфері освітнього менеджменту» дві магістрантки Хмельницького національного університету (Юрнюк Тетяна і Ковальчук Тетяна) та аспірантка кафедри менеджменту Яцишина Жанна пройшли стажування в Німеччині, на базі університету м. Хільдесхайм.

Під час стажування, яке для магістрантів тривало шість тижнів, а для аспірантів три місяці, німецькою стороною була організована цікава програма, яка сприяла як науковому розвитку, так і культурному збагаченню учасників проекту з України, Росії і Білорусі.

Учасники проекту проживали у старовинному затишному містечку Хільдесхайм, за тридцять кілометрів від Ганноверу, місті, багатому своєю історією та культурою, відомому своїми церквами та музеями, що містять художньо-історичні скарби всесвітнього значення. До кожного з учасників проекту був прикріплений супроводжуючий (Buddy), який допомагав як в ознайомленні з містом, університетом, роботою в бібліотеці, так і в організації побуту на новому місці. Завжди можна було звернутися до нього з питанням, проханням і таке знайомство згодом навіть переростало в дружбу.
