International Conference: European Higher Education in the World, 5th - 6th September 2013 Vinius, Lithuania Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2013. International Conference „European Higher Education in the World“ Following the European Commission's Communication "European higher education in the world" adopted on 11 July, the Lithuanian presidency is hosting a conference for over 150 higher education stakeholders from the EU and beyond. The conference offers an opportunity for dialogue on the different tools available to further internationalisation processes, and on the future place of Europe in the global higher education landscape. The event takes place in Vilnius on 5-6 September, and will be opened by Prime Minister Butkevičius of Lithuania, Education Minister Pavalkis and Commissioner Vassiliou. Tempus Projects
During the I, II, III phases of the Tempus Program since 1993 to 2009 with active participation of the Ukrainian partners about 300 projects implemented. As the result of the six calls for proposals of Tempus IV 94 projects in Ukraine include 76 Joint Projects (including 12 national ones) and 18 Structural Measures (including 6 national ones).
