Cahul State University (USC) is a public higher education institution in the southern region of the Republic of Moldova

The main goal of our university is:

 to train and to provide the southern region of the Republic of Moldova with the highly qualified professionals.

USC offers full university degree programmes in a range of academic disciplines, divided into 3 faculties:

Faculty of Philology and History,

Faculty of Law and Public Administration

Faculty of Economy, Computer Science and Mathematics.

The services and centers of the university have an important role in the improvement of the educational process: English Resource Center, French Resource Center, the ONU center of documentation, Cahul Pro-Europe Center, Juridical Clinic etc

Although it has a short history, the USC has registered very good results both in the domain of scientific research and in the involvement of teaching staff in the organization of different extra curricular activities, programs and projects. It has a wide experience of participation in different projects such as: Tempus, Erasmus; proving seriousness of tasks realization.

The indicators and the socio-economic/academic characteristics of “B. P. Hasdeu” State University of Cahul place this institution in the line of the most dynamic institutions of the country and demonstrate responsibility in the implementation of European educational standards and promptness in the relationships with other higher institutions from the Republic of Moldova and Europe.
