Bogomolets National Medical University is looking for partners to cooperate under Erasmus +

Main field of activities:

Bogomolets National Medical University (NMU) is leading institution in academic and methodical work among higher educational medical institutions of III IV level of accreditation in Ukraine and it is basic medical university for coordination and implementation of Bologna process in higher medical education in Ukraine. NMU provides training of specialists for practical health care on both undergraduate (2 directions and 7 specialities: General Medicine, Dentistry, Pediatrics, Pharmacy, Technology of Perfume Cosmetic Drugs, Preventive Medicine, Medical Psychology) and postgraduate (34 specialities) levels.

The University has highly professional faculty: academic process is provided by 1200 professors, including 190 Doctors of Sciences and 720 PhD, associated professors. The structure of NMU is represented by 12 departments and 79 chairs.

Nowadays 14.000 students are studying at the University. Among them 12.300 are studying at the undergraduate level and 1.550 are international students from 63 countries of the world.

Since 2004, NMU has been providing international students with study programmes in English. Academic programmes in English are being successfully implemented in 3 specialities: General Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy.

The main goal of the University is successful implementation of state policy in the field of higher medical and pharmaceutical education, science and public health to achieve the highest quality of medical specialists’ training, competiveness of the institution and its graduates on the market of medical and educational services, research activities, its correspondence to the standards of national and world labor market.

In 2011 NMU became a signatory of Magna Charta Universitatum (Bologna, Italy).

From 2011 students graduating from the University are awarded with the Diploma Supplement.

All academic curricula are developed according to the ECTS.

Information about the intended project:

Bogomolets National Medical University is interested in participation in all possible projects under Erasmus + and, in particular, in developing joint master programmes.

Project proposal/description:

 student and stuff mobility;

 joint Master and PhD programmes;

 joint research projects;

 curriculum development;

 development and implementation of innovations into academic process;

 lifelong learning;

 strategic partnership with higher educational institutions, research institutes and medical organizations.

Previous international experience:

NMU is a co founder of the European Interuniversity Centre for Science and Collaboration (Italy), Eastern European Network of Universities (Poland), a participant of 27 educational, 53 research and 28 grant international projects.
