Faculty Department of International Cooperation Project type Designing Joint Courses Area Support Services for Internationalization Title Documentation support for academic mobility Needs analisys Management of academic mobility of students, young researches and teaching staff requires additional knowledge and skills in making a wide range of documents to support exchanges. One of the key issue faced by IRO is the unification of existed procedures and forms of issued documents: academic certificates, diploma supplements, reference letters, essays and other documentation. There is also a need to upgrade the quality of the issued documents, to bring thier forms in accrdance with international standards in roder to make them most easily to be reviewed by international admision committee and boards. Objectives • to develop an effective approaches based on international experience in documentation management in English; • to esnure quality of documents prepared for those who apply for international programs. Planned activities • exchange of experience in the field of documentation management of academic mobility; • development of methodological recommendations and manuals for the workers of international offices to refer to; • publication of the glossary on the disciplines and other educational activities’ names. Objectives • to give a larger access for citizens to free juridical service; • to fight with law nihilism; • to give the chance to work while studying; • to deepen knowledge of the future lawyers so they could favour law problems. Planned activities • publication of the study aids; • having seminars; • implementation of new teaching methods, educational programs and seminars. Faculty Faculty of Physics Project type Organization of seminars, workshops, summer school and etc. Area Energy Saving Title Development of Training Network for Energy Efficiency Education Needs analysis Many countries of the world do not have their own energy resources. In this situation an issue of rational use of imported oil products and gas as well as the use of alternative and renewable energy sources becomes very important. In order to develop a necessary infrastructure to support the use of alternative and renewable energy sources country has to design a system of training and retraining of specialists in that sphere. This system of training should include both theoretical and practical components and might be realized through networking between universities and specialists. Objectives Objective of the project is to create an integrated educational platform to support studies in the sphere of management of alternative and renewable energy sources. Specific objectives of the project: • to improve the system of training and retraining of specialists by means of creation of integrated educational platform based on common sets of study equipment and methodological literature; • design a training network as a complexes of practical courses and virtual experiments; • transfer of new educational methods, study equipment and software to support training and retraining programs in the sphere of management of alternative and renewable energy sources; The major outcome of the project is a Training Network as an integrated and logically connected system of new and innovative educational methods, equipment and software aimed at training specialists in the sphere of management of alternative and renewable energy sources. Planned activities • development and design of new equipment for having experiments to teach the main principles of energy efficiency and the usage of resumed energy resources; • development and design of new software to have experiments; • design of the set of study materials for practical and virtual experiments; • preparation of the seminars for the academic staff to work in training network; • implementation of the training network into the practice of the BSU.
