2. Main field of activities:

Educational, methodological and scientific activity; international cooperation.

Kherson Institute of Economy and Law was established in 1996. There are 2000 students of 7 specialties at 3 departments. More than 65% of the staff is Doctors of Science and Candidates of sciences. Departments provide scientific and educational work in finance, accounting, management of foreign trade, organization management, economic cybernetics, economic security and law.

I. Curricula reform:

1). Curricular modernization according to the European Credit Transfer System(ECTS)

Courses: Law and effective administration (including the human rights), information society, business and entrepreneurship, tourism.

Institutional and financial autonomy

Development of the international relations

 III. Higher Education and Society:

Development of cooperation with enterprises

Development of lifelong learning

 Besides, we’d like to cooperate within other international program according to the followings:

In education sector:

Exchange of Curricular and educational programs, training aids and methodological materials.

Exchange of academic staff, researchers and students.

Organization and holding of joint scientific-practical conferences, seminars, workshops, round tables.

Development and realization of joint educational and research projects.

 In research activity sector:

Scientific innovation policy of the agrarian sector.

Food safety and multipurpose agriculture development of EU.

Sustainable development of EU economies.

Reflexive control of economic developments

 We also have a wide range of cooperation relations in Kherson region.

 Cooperation with University of Innovative Technology and Management from Rzeszow(Poland)

within the educational program “11/2 plus11/2” 2011 year.

The internship program for teachers at the U.S. Embassy, Fulbright Program, 2005.
