Founded in 1912 by the Russian Union of Consumer societies, Centrosoyuz.

Branches - The Head University, located in Moscow Region, has 22 affiliated institutional branches that provide higher education in different regions of Russia: in the cities of Kaliningrad, Cheboksary, Saransk, Volgograd, Kazan, Krasnodar and others.

Faculty and student body (Head University) – 300 teachers, 4500 students

2. Main field of activities of your institution:

 Levels of education programs – primary professional education, secondary professional education, Bachelor, Master, D.Phil.

 Educational research fields - World Economy, Catering and Merchandizing, Finance and Credit, Law, Accounting and Applied Informatics

 3. International experience under implementation:

  International language programs

- University of Cambridge Language Centre, German Language Centre – increase of cultural and linguistic competence of learners with the purpose of participation in the double-degree program.

 Double-degree program

- The educational program Bachelor of Arts in Business of Russian University of Cooperation and International Institute of Management LINK gives a chance to study Business Administration on a Distance Learning basis and to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Business diploma of the Open University (Great Britain) upon graduation.

The program includes MBA course and equals 1/3 MBA.

- The educational Bachelor program together with the IMC University of Applied Sciences in Krems (Austria) enables students to get solid foreign education and the Austrian diploma studying at RUC. Subjects – Export-oriented Management, E-Business Management, Tourism and Leisure Management and Business Administration.

- University of Cambridge International Diplomas in IT Skills together with VELLUM International Certification Expansion.

 Lifelong learning

- Vocational training for foreign partners (members of Central Cooperative Union of Bulgaria, Sri Lanka Consumer Co-Operative Societies Federation etc.

4. Information about the intended TEMPUS project:

Russian University of Cooperation is willing to participate both in Joint Projects and in Structural Measures as a partner.

5. Project proposal/description:

- Lifelong learning through international cooperation (exchange programs, internships, refresher courses, curriculum modernization, joint researches and activities)
