Riga Technical University (RTU) is the largest university in Latvia. RTU is offering a wide range of study programs. Currently RTU comprises the 8 faculties.

Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management, is offering a wide range of business administration and economics programs. Latvian- Norwegian MBA program “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” is delivered by the Department of International Study programs of the Faculty. The Norwegian-Latvian Executive Master Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship joint program between Riga Technical University and Buskerud Univeristy College, Norway. The program included teaching and transfer of business and market related topics in Managerial Cost Accounting, Project Management and General Management.

Activity main field: innovation in education, e-learning, management, economics and enterprises.

3. Information about intended TEMPUS project

Tempus: Curricula Reformation and Harmonisation in the field of Biomedical Engineering;

Tempus: Quality Assurance for Partnership, Governance Reform and Knowledge Transfer

4. Previous international experience

Most of participants have previous experience in :

Gruntvig, Baltic Sea Region, ESF, ERAF, Leonardo Da vinci projects as a partners. Apart from projects has a strong international collaboration in different academic and training programs.

In the framework of Erasmus programme cooperation with Universities has been successful for years.
