1. Name of the university interested in participating in TEMPUS project:

International name: CRIMEAN UNIVERSITY OF CULTURE, ART AND TOURISM.

National name: Кримський університет культури, мистецтв і туризму.

2. Main field of activities of your institution:

Educational, methodological and scientific activity; international cooperation.

In 2012 the University in general was granted the third level of accreditation.

This year new specialty of Tourism was added to the list.

Crimean University of Culture, Arts and Tourism has four faculties:

• Faculty of Socio-Cultural activities,

• Faculty of Theatre Arts,

• Faculty of Art of Music,

• Faculty of Choreography.

3. Project proposal/description

We are searching for partners to modernize Master level Programme in Tourism, Modern and Folk Choreography. The experience of European universities and art schools is of a high value to create joint/double degree programs.

4. Information about the intended TEMPUS project (aim, objectives etc):

The main aim of University is to improve existing education system and approach it to European educational standards.

Work within “Higher Education and Society” national priorities:

- Development of university’s partnerships with business,

- Knowledge triangle: education - innovation –research.

 Work within the following regional priorities:

I. Reforming of curricula and programs for Tourism.

II. Management Reform:

- University’s management and student services,

- Institutional and financial autonomy,

- Development of International Relations.

III. Higher Education and Society:

- Development of cooperation with enterprises,

- Development of lifelong learning program.
