Tempus Information Day for Western Ukrainian universities was held in Lviv, on January 27, 2010. This seminar was organized jointly by the National Tempus Office in Ukraine (NTO) and Lviv Polytechnic National University, with support of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Ministry of Education and Science and Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
A two days earlier, on January 25, Lviv Polytechnic National University hosted the Round table “Bologna process statements implementation in Ukraine: problems of the higher education 3rd cycle, opportunities and issues in frame of Tempus Program and Erasmus Mundus Program”, where about 40 delegates from 20 higher education and research institutions of Western Ukraine took part in the event. Among them there were famous Ukrainian scientists, Corresponding Members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine – Ihor Mrygod and Roman Kushnir. Ukraine HERE team experts – Taras Dobko, Senior Vice-Rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University, and Yuriy Rashkevych, Vice-Rector for International Relations Lviv Polytechnic National University, addressed participants with main approaches and achievements of higher education 3rd cycle implementation in frame of Bologna process in Europe and in Ukraine. The NTO Director Svitlana Shytikova and NTO Coordinator Olena Orzhel presented Tempus and Erasmus Mundus Program opportunities for Doctoral studies in Europe, and elaborated on the utilization of European experience in development of joint Doctor programs in Ukraine. |

On December 10, 2009 National Tempus Office in Ukraine (NTO) held a session on Tempus Program in Ukrainsky Dim, Business and Cultural Cooperation Center. The session took place within the framework of International Exhibitions “Education and Carrier – 2009” and "Education Аbroad" – a fair of foreign educational institutions in Ukraine organized jointly by the Delegation of the EU in Ukraine, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, and “Znannya”.
Session participants were representatives from Kyiv and regional higher education institutions from Lviv, Kamianets – Podilsk, Kirovograd, Odesa, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Yalta and other cities. The purpose of the event was to highlight the specificities and innovations of the Third Call of Tempus IV Program and opportunities for international cooperation opened by the EU educational programs. 25 лютого 2010 р. було презентовано можливості співпраці вищих навчальних закладів з бізнесом у межах освітньої програми Європейського Союзу - Темпус на конференції "Діалог бізнесу та науки" організованої Мережею університетів-партнерів Гіссенського Університету і.Ю.Лімбаха, Німеччина за підтримки Білоцерківського національного аграрного університету. У заході взяли участь представники ВНЗ та бізнесу з України, Росії, Грузії, Німеччини, Польщі, Угорщини, Румунії. Учасники обнінялись досвідом міжнародної співпраці та можливостями для посилення залучення бізнесу до підготовки професіоналів.
