Creation of new study program "Information Systems Engineering" (ISE)

4) Project proposal/description:

Information Systems Engineering (ISE) is a study program, which combines Computer Science and Electrical Engineering by laying a common mathematical background. ISE constitutes an excellent preparation for a successive career in the fields of microelectronics, automation, communication technology, software engineering, computer engineering and distributed systems. Ten years ago, the Dresden University of Technology (TU Dresden) created this new study program, which has become an outstanding degree program and is by now highly appreciated by the industry. The objective of the aimed project is to transfer the general idea with the help of the TEMPUS projects by introducing the main courses and providing the main LAB facilities, which are necessary for a effective study program.
