Quality of International Student Mobility: From Quantity to Quality (preliminary title)

The project is facing the current situation of disintegration of the exchange programs, which are growing in numbers, from the study process of the home institution when participation in the exchange program is viewed as personal choice of a student, but not as a valuable component of the educational program and sees as its aim to:

- deal with the following topics: finding a place for international element in home university study programs (mostly orienting on the B and M levels of studies); embedding such an element into the exiting study programs / redesigning the study programs with the consideration of the study abroad element; Learning Agreement and Credit Transfer as necessary elements of student exchanges – how to approach and to adapt to the home university realities; teaching in English as a way to attract international mobility students at home university; peculiarities of teaching in the international classes; intercultural competences for the faculty and staff, dealing with international exchange students at home university; quality insurance in organization of student exchanges etc.

- to reach the following objectives: 1) to elaborate recommendation as for embedding international exchange element in the study programs; 2) to elaborate regulations enabling home students to successfully participate in the international mobilities; 2) to elaborate criteria for evaluation of successful mobility projects; 3) to review the existing home universities curricula from the point of view of possible integration of both way student mobility; 3) to review existing international partnerships from the point of view of implementation of effective student mobility etc.
