is one of the leading classical universities in Ukraine which has a strong base for preparing high qualified professionals for the regional and international labormarket.

The educational process is organized on the faculties majoring in philosophy, natural sciences, computer technologies and automatics, mathematics and informatics, electronics and techniques, mechanics, management, finances and economics, mass communication and philology.

V. Dahl EUNU always tries to correspond to the leading European Universities in order to improve the curricula, professional skills of lecturers and the level of student competence. This is the reason why we are willing to take part in such programs which will support us to enhance the existing study situation.

The faculty staff leads a scientific and research work in order to elaborate projects for modernization of current curricula, introduction of ECTS and diploma recognition on engineering and computer sciences, physics and building.

Both for joint projects and structural measures we are working at proposals for the issues “Introduction of quality assurance” and also “Knowledge triangle: education-innovation-research”.

A brief description of our conception for these important challenges.

Knowledge triangle: education-innovation-research. The activity of the modern university covers all elements of the "knowledge triangle" (education, research and innovation). Interdependent development of the university in these areas involves the creation of synergy, which allows the multiple increase of the development level of each component of the "triangle". The results of scientific research and the approved methodology of innovation will become the new content of educational programs, and specialists, prepared according to these educational programs, will be able to solve successfully the problem of industrial innovation transfer, and the problem of generating of new knowledge for future development of technology in the target domain.

Introduction of quality assurance. Quality assurance of education is one of the most important conditions for the recognition of the university in an academic environment and the labor market. Society as a whole and the existing therein groups, interested in high quality education, require the innovative mechanisms for achieving the goal of quality assurance in conditions of activating competition at the market of educational services. The quality assurance of higher education in developing as a processes of evaluation and accreditation of educational programs and institutions (policy and institutional assessment and accreditation), as well as the establishment and operation of quality management systems within the university.

The University has become a member of many international associations and was one of the first to sign the Great Charter of the European Universities (Magna Charta Universitatum) in Bologna, Italy, thus having joint the Bologna Process.

Our University continues to participate in two Tempus projects which are “International networking for modernization of tourism education and developing academic mobility” and ”Higher Education System Development for Social Partnership Improvement and Humanity Sciences Competitiveness”.
