International Seminar on Joint Degrees will take place on 29 October 2010 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The seminar is organised by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation (Lithuanian Erasmus Mundus National Structure), Vilnius University and JOIMAN project partners in the framework of the European Project "JOIMAN: Joint Degree Management and Administration Network". More information about the project, its results, project partners and previous seminars could be found at the JOIMAN web site (www.joiman.eu).
The seminar is directed to HEIs representatives interested or enrolled in organisation of Joint Master and/or Joint Doctoral studies, persons and National Agencies involved in higher education management as well as policy makers/stakeholders. The multimedia class with modern techniques functions in Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics with the active support of the chancellor of the university А.А. Mazaraki at the expense of the financing of the European Commission according to the Programme TEMPUS MODEP (MOdernisation and DEvelopement de cours Professionnalises) ETJ - JP - 00408-2008 and partial financing of the university.
Multimedia technologies used in the classroom G-207 KNUTE give the possibility to reach a new level of teaching of foreign languages, raise the scope for self-reliant work of students and provide conditions for distant education.
Miltimedia classroom is oriented for the work of pilot groups of students of the programme TEMPUS, The Centre of foreign business language and likewise for training of the teachers of KNUTE with the aim of introducing English-speaking Magister educational programme.

During
the Round table EU Expert Arthur Mettinger shared the experience of Vienna University
in terms of Bologna
principles implementation and described the situation with the National Qualification
Framework development.
Key
recommendations on the results of two round tables have been developing and
will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Ministry of
Education and Sciences of Ukraine and published on NTO site, in education
edition.
All in all, about 100 delegates from 20 public and private higher education institutions of Ukraine and research institutions of National Academy
of Sciences of Ukraine, National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine
took part in the two-day event.

 Донецький державний університет управління до 20-тої річниці програми Темпус

Для Донецького державного університету управління знайомство з програмою ТЕМПУС розпочалося у 2003 році, коли університет став учасником проекту CD_JEP 23250-2002 «Магістр бізнес адміністрування та інформаційні технології». Консорціум було утворено із дев’яти університетів: з європейської сторони – Штутгартський університет (Німеччина), Сандерлендський університет (Великобританія), Національний інститут телекомунікацій (м. Еврі, Франція), Політехнічний університет Каталонії (м. Барселона, Іспанія), Вища школа менеджменту (м. Легниця, Польща), з української сторони – Житомирський державний технологічний університет, Донецький державний університет управління, Запорізький національний університет та Європейський університет (м. Київ). Поставлені завдання проекту були виконані та схвалені відповідним департаментом Європейської Комісії, а саме:

25–27 листопада 2010 р. за підтримки Національного Темпус-офісу в Україні відбулася V МІЖНАРОДНА НАУКОВО-ПРАКТИЧНА КОНФЕРЕНЦІЯ „Вища освіта України у контексті інтеграції до європейського освітнього простору” в Українському домі (м. Київ) (понад 300 учасників). У роботі конференції взяла участь запрошений експерт Європейської Комісії – Вєра ШТАСТНА, Національний Болонський експерт, головний радник з питань Європейських справ та Болонського процесу Міністерства освіти, молоді та спорту Чеської Республіки, керівник аналітичного відділу Офісу Ректора Карлового Університету (м. Прага), яка виступила з презентацією „Рамки кваліфікацій, результати навчання, ЄКТС та простір вищої освіти в наступному десятиріччі” на пленарному засіданні, а також провела презентацію „Запровадження ЄКТС (ECTS) та Національної рамки кваліфікації: європейський (чеський) досвід” та відповіла на питання під час секційного засідання.
У межах конференції Національний Темпус-офіс в Україні провів спеціальну сесію-дискусію (англійською мовою) щодо проблем та перспектив запровадження Болонського процесу в України за участю Вєри ШТАСТНОЇ та Національної команди експертів з реформування вищої освіти в Україні. За підтримки НТО в Україні (у межах фінансування ЄС) було видано 6 томів публікацій за матеріалами конференції. Захід висвітлювався масс-медіа - телевізійний канал "5 канал", програма "Вікно в Європу", "Новини"; "Педагогічна газета", стаття "Чи стане вища освіта України європейською?".
