The Institute for Advanced Studies and Research (www.iifa.uevora.pt) is a recent organic unit created by the University of Évora (in Portugal) that has as its mission to create and implement a coherent and integrated research activities, as well as the promotion of advanced studies. Like the Doctoral Schools that are emerging in many European Universities, the Doctoral School of IIFA assumes the leadership of the scientific activity of the University of Évora, to develop synergies between the supply of the advanced studies (PhD Programs and International Doctoral Programs and Masters) and the scientific capacities installed in its R&D Units.

Our priorities focus on the following: promoting the internationalization of the research teams; development of the scientific culture; guiding the processes of the accreditation of the courses; support of the centers in the international evaluation processes; supporting the Endowed Chairs and the Post-Doctoral programs; and in the integrated use of scientific infrastructures. Currently, IIFA includes 11 research Units evaluated positively by FCT, 34 PhD Programs, 3 ERASMUS-MUNDUS Masters Courses and 2 Endowed Chairs financed by the private sector.

Donetsk National University (DNU) is powerful scientific and higher educational establishment of the East part of Ukraine which has IV grade accreditation.

International department TEMPUS REAP CENTRE interested to be a consortium member in TEMPUS projects (submission call for 2012).

Main field of activities of your institution:

Main fields of DNU and TEMPUS REAP CENTRE activities are multifaceted and include educational, methodological and scientific activities, as well as international cooperation. It offers academic programmes at all levels including undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate courses and post-doctoral studies.

Develop training programs on «Ecological Security of household drinking water of Kyrgyzstan" for specialty chemistry, ecology, biology and medicine

 The aim of the project

 The problem of drinking water affects many aspects of life in human society throughout the history of its existence. Nowadays, drinking water - a problem of the social, political, medical, geographical, as well as engineering andeconomics.

Drinking water - water that meets in their quality in their natural state or after processing (cleaning, disinfection) with the regulatory requirements and is intended for drinking and household needs of the person or for the manufacture of food products. We are talking about the requirements for aggregate properties and composition of the water in which it has no adverse effects on human health when it is used, and when used for hygienic purposes, and in the manufacture of food products.

 The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Applied Studies in Belgrade is preparing to apply for a TEMPUS IV regional joint project titled "Implementation of Renewable Energy Technology in inovated curriculum specialized professional studies".
