The selection results of the fourth Call for Proposals to be funded from Tempus IV have now been finalised. 63 proposals have been recommended for funding from the Tempus budget. Nine projects are selected with participation of Ukrainian partners.

All proposals were evaluated by independent experts against the selection and award criteria published in the Call. The short-list of projects based on experts' quality assessment was sent to the EU Delegations, National Tempus Offices and relevant National Authorities in the Partner Countries for consultation, to ensure that they were in line with national higher education policies in the Partner Countries.

The responses from the consultation process were analysed and taken into consideration, along with the results of experts' evaluation, as well as other considerations to which a priority was given in the Call, namely to encourage Structural Measures and multi-country projects. Lastly, the selection committee had to ensure a geographic balance across the Tempus Partner Countries.

The following projects with participation of Ukrainian partners are recommended for funding:

Multi-country – Joint Projects:

1) 516613-TEMPUS-1-2011-1-BETEMPUS-JPHES Building capacity for University-Enterprise partnerships towards competency based training in Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine.

2) 516664-TEMPUS-1-2011-1-UKTEMPUS-JPCR Modernising Undergraduate Medical Education in EU Eastern Neighbouring Area.

3) 516721-TEMPUS-1-2011-1-RO-TEMPUS-JPCR Licence-Master professionnels en psychologie sociale pour intervenir auprès des publics migrants en Russie, Ukraine et au Kazakhstan.

Tempus (Trans-European Mobility Programme for University Studies) is the European Union’s programme which supports the modernisation of higher education in the Partner Countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Mediterranean region, mainly through university cooperation projects.

As a result of three calls for proposals 29 projects have been implementing with 26 Joint Projects (5 national among them) and 3 projects of Structural Measures.
