20 years of Tempus – Polish-German conference |
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Tempus programme and the 4th call for proposals in Tempus IV, the National Contact Point held an international conference on 18th and 19th November 2010 at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Poland, now a EU member, was among the first partner countries in which Tempus projects were carried out. Today, many German and Polish universities are working together as EU partners in projects with Tempus partner countries. Hence, DAAD, together with the Polish National Contact Point Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) invited Polish, German and international university representatives as well as people interested in Tempus to a joint conference. We celebrated the programme's 20th anniversary and provided information on the new call for proposals in Tempus IV. Not only history but also the future of Tempus played a major role at the event. You can find the agenda here. Representatives of thre National Tempus office from Tempus countries announced national priorities and key directions for collaboration within Tempus projects.
